Both RNA-Seq data and the H3K4me3/me1 log ratio indi_x0002_cated that the CALM1 promoter was strong, whereas the C14orf102 promoter was weak and enhancer-like. The luciferase reporter gene assay showed marginal enhancement to the CALM1 promoter reporter gene activity by the native CALM1 enhancer and the C14orf102 promoter individually. |
